Behind all that blandness is so much menace and racism distilled the night of our first Black President’s inauguration. His promised obstruction. Since Biden is white, McConnell must shift his label to ‘socialist’ only because ‘communist’ is outmoded. He represents how the old guard, the southern patriarchy still wants to run the plantation with supremacist power. Witness how he blocked the January 6th investigation. May voters reject this malevolent power-grabbing hypocrisy that pretends to want to save democracy yet supports insurrection.
