I am so confused. You outline so carefully to young Republicans how the Republican Party can be ethically rebuilt. As an elder you suggest tools to do so. Then you say it\u2019s not your struggle. If I were apprenticing to your analysis, your apparent sense of how to work toward a better future, I\u2019d feel discouraged, even betrayed, to realize you\u2019re just walking away. Leaving in your wake, as an alleged statesman, what becomes a prestigious op ed head trip with no actual moral muscle for the work ahead.
